Mark is the creator, writer and artist of the long enduring 'Thieves and Kings', an on-going tale of a young thief, Rubel, a sorceress, Heath Wingwhit, their swashbuckling adventures, magic and coming of age. Mark will be a guest of the upcoming Hal-Con science fiction convention which celebrates it's second year next week. Studios, a title he will be drawing and co-writing with Corinna Bechko which hits shelves in November. He joins us this week fresh off his trip to the New York Comic Con where it was announced he will be handling the art duties on Secret Avengers with writer Rick Remender starting with issue 22. Kane Hodder has been terrifying audiences for years and is best known as the man behind the goalie mask in the Friday the 13th movie franchise. He played Jason Voorhees in 'Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood', 'Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan', 'Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday' and 'Jason X'. On top of all of this he is a prolific stunt coordinator, lending his expertise to such films as 'The Devil's Rejects', 'Gone In Sixty Seconds' and 'A Night at the Roxbury' to name only a few. He joins us on the program to chat about all of this as well as his forthcoming autobiography; 'Unmasked: The True Life Story of the World's Most Prolific Cinematic Killer', which is due to hit book stands on October 1st. Dirk is the guy responsible for Nightmare World from Image Comics/Shadowline. Nightmare World is a series of 52 cerebral, stand-alone, genre-hopping short stories that, over time, gel together to tell the one giant uber-story about Lucifer awakening Cthulhu to kick-start the Armageddon.
