Cullen Bunn is back in the Monster Cave talking about his new book, "The Remains", being released this week exclusively on ComiXology by MonkeyBrain Comics. You know Cullen's work as the creator of "The Sixth Gun" and "The Damned" from Oni Press. He's also been busy at Marvel on books like, "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" and the upcoming series "Magneto". Not to mention a new Sinestro series coming from DC Comics.
We'll be talking to him about his new books, and what he's been up to since we last talked.

This week on Where Monsters Dwell we welcome Hope Nicholson to the Monster Cave. Hope is one of the two driving forces behind the successful Kickstarter campaign to recover and reprint Nelvana of the Northern Lights; Canada's first superheroine, one of the very first female superheroes ever created, and one of the most popular creations of the Canadian Golden Age of comics.
Hope is also a producer on Lost Heroes, a documentary on Canada’s superhero history set to air on Superchannel in 2014. Lost Heroes is directed by Orphan Black & Bitten writer/producer Will Pascoe and explores the past of the Canadian superhero from Nelvana to Captain Canuck and Cerebus.

Episode 279 with Sandy Carruthers

This week on Where Monsters Dwell we welcome yet another great comic creator from the east coast of Canada, Sandy Carruthers. Sandy has had a varied career and is most well known as the artist for The Men in Black (Aircel Comics) which spawned a successful movie franchise. He is also a teacher, editorial cartoonist, author, and webcartoonist. You can see some of his new work in March when he'll be one of the contributors to the first issue of The Charlton Arrow.
